High stability, excellent gloss and durability
TERRASIL® PE line silicone emulsions are water-born emulsions formulated with Silicone Fluid or Silicone Resin. Even in diluted forms, they are well stable with regard to shear stress. They can easily be incorporated into coldstirred formulations, and exhibit excellent wetting, spreading and release properties.
TERRASIL® PE silicone emulsions are suitable best for the formulation of auto care and surface care products, and paint and vinyl conditioners. They support an easy polishing of the conditioner formulations and improves the brightness.
In rotary offset printing, TERRASIL® PE improves the heat resistance of the paper web and reduces its sensitivity to shear. It bestows good antiblocking properties on the paper web making it resistant to mechanical stress and letting it glide over the rollers very easily.
TERRASIL PE® is used also for the formulation of release agents in rubber processing.
