New dimensions in polyester fiber and fiberfill
Based on the most innovative silicone polymer technologies designed for Polyester fiber industres TERRASOFT® OPE serie Silicone Emulsion for Polyester Fiber & Fiberfill is a new-generated finishing agent developed specificly to impart elasticity, as well as to improve mechanical, thermal and chemical resistances, and surface quality of the polyester fiber and fiberfill. It is also ideal to provide specific properties such as friction resistance, rebound resilience, high comb performance, antistatic effect and reduced water absorbency.
When combined with a suitable Silane, TERRASOFT® OPE can be applied as elastomeric coating on the polyester fiber. The benefits of the application are long lasting elasticity and rebund resilience, permanent softness and volumeness, durable shine with 3D effect, a stronger fiber structure, clumping prevention, increased heat resistance, improved comb performance, antistatic effect, and well-regulated water absorption.
