Outstanding wetting, sprading and penetration
Being used as an additive or a formulation component, TERRASIL® SWA serie Wetting Agent is a silicone polyether surfactant with non-ionic character. It may be used in both solvent-based and water-based aqueous systems, and improve the spreadability, wetting and penetration properties.
TERRASIL® SWA is well suited for product formulations such as household surface care products, car care solutions and Wash-and-Wax agents, polishers, cleaning agents, textile softeners, finishing agents for textile and leather, leather conditioners, defoamers and antifoams, personal care products and cosmetics, indoor and outdoor paints, marine paints, industrial paints, decorative paints, spray paints, paint preservatives, primers, surface coatings, inks, adhesives, construction chemicals for surface treatment, water repellants and water repellent impregnating agents, lubricants, release and mold release agents, and agrochemicals.

Super Spreader

A super-spreading surfactant based on a trisiloxane ethoxylate with outstanding spreading and leveling effects. It helps lower the surface tension of spray solutions, and accelerate the rapid uptake of liquids. Unlike many other trisiloxane alkoxylates, it is not typically affected by oil-based components and can provide enhanced spreading in formulations containing such components. Being nonionic in nature, it may be considered for use across a broad range of industrial applications including paints and coatings, surface care products, textile and leather finishing agents, release agents and lubricants, metal cutting liquids, antifoams and defoamers, and personal cera and cosmetics. It is soluble in water, alcohol and hydro-alcoholic systems.

Super Spreader & Wetting Agent

Modified trisiloxane polyether that combines a very low molecular weight trisiloxane with a polyether group. It is characterized by remarkable interfacial activity, which can result in dramatically reduced aqueous surface tension, outstanding spreading or leveling and stabilized foam. All of which may be achieved using a fraction of the typical concentration levels of organic or fluorocarbon surfactants. These effects are so powerful, that the water solutions using this silicone surfactant are able to wet PTFE. It is soluble in water, alcohol and hydro-alcoholic systems.
