TERRASOFT® OPE serie silicone fluid emulsions are derivated from OH functional polydimethylsiloxane silicone fluids that contain silanol-terminated groups. They impart outstanding properties to polyester fibers, fiberfills and nonwoven textiles in terms of mechanical, chemical, thermal and electrical strengths and elasticity. They are widely used for polyster fiber upholstery, plush toys, pillows and quilts, geotextiles, filtration, sewing thread, canvas and sailcloth. Combined with a suitable silane, TERRASOFT® OPE provides more permanent effects in terms of elasticity, softness and fullness, resistance to friction and high temperature, rebound resilience, comb performance and washing resistance.
TERRASOFT® OPE is an effective finishing agent used for other natural and synthetic fibers such as polyamide, nylon, polypropylene, acrylic, cellulose, cotton and maschine washable wool. It imparts high structural strength and flexibility, and excellent surface quality in terms of physical and optical properties.
