TERRACOAT® serie Liquid Silicone Rubber for Textile Coating consists of flowable, two-component silicone rubbers that cures at high temperatures. They can be applied by common coating methods such as silkscreen printing, embo printing, Knife-over-Roll coating, dip coating, calendar coating or lamination.
TERRACOAT® is noted for its excellent adhesion on all kind of knitted, woven, narrow and lace fabrics made of natural or synthetic fibres. With TERRACOAT® coated fabrics assure high performance in terms of mechanical strengths, resistance to acids and alkalis, resistance to weathering, resistance to high temperature and flame, resistance to UV, ozone and radiation, and resistance to high voltage. It is well suited for clothing and home textiles, and high performance technical textiles such as air-bag, protective clothing, silicone insulated cable and medical textiles.
TERRACOAT® is solvent-free, non-toxic and skin-contact, and comply with OEKO-TEX®, bluesign® and ZDHC. In addition, it is cost-effective and contribute to the Sustainability.
