High stability, high efficiency

Textile auxiliaries such as surfactants, emulsifiers, leveling agents, uniform dyeing agents and printing inks used in pulping, bleaching, dyeing, finishing, sizing, printing, pre-treatment and finishing cause mostly foam formation when exposed to mechanical vibrations such as scrubbing, mixing, shaking and pumping, high shear forces, as well as high temperatures, high alkalis and high pH changes. TERRA offers specific foam control systems to control this undesired foam fomation that are incorporated into other textile additives or added directly into the foam formation medium.

Formulated as silicone-based or silicone-free systems, TERRAFOAM® serie Defoamer and Antifoam Agents are offered in powder or liquid forms. They provide effective foam control, and contribute to obtaining cost-effective, high-efficient and sustainable processes in the production of textiles.
